Celebrity Cruises has signed up Michelin-starred Josh Eggleton for a Great British Chefs cruise next summer.

Eggleton, who owns the Pony and Trap in Chew Magna, Bristol, will prepare a tasting menu in Murano, one of the speciality restaurants on Celebrity Equinox, during a seven-night cruise from Barcelona to Piraeus (for Athens) departing July 2 2016.

During the cruise, passengers will also get to sample a five-course meal at Torre del Saracino restaurant in Campania, southern Italy, owned by two Michelin-starred chef Gennaro Esposito.

Both dining options are included in the price, from £1,499 per person including VIP charter flights from Stansted’s private terminal.
