Discover Egypt has launched four-night cruises on Lake Nasser that can be combined with pre and post-cruise stays in Aswan and Cairo.

Available from late September 2015 to April 2016, the cruises are on the 160-passenger Steigenberger Omar Khayam.

Prices start from £1,499 per person for a seven-night holiday that sandwiches a four-night cruise between three-night pre and post-cruise stays at the Movenpick Resort in Aswan.

Flights, transfers and excursions are included in the price, and clients can upgrade to all-inclusive package of soft drinks and local alcohol for £112 per person.
