There’s nothing I enjoy more than a good party.
For those of you who know me, it will come as no surprise to read the previous sentence. I’m not talking about some random Friday night out – although after the enforced lockdowns they are certainly worthy of excitement – rather I am referring to the Wave Awards, our main awards ceremony, which we held in October.
This event, like others, was delayed due to circumstances outside our control but the perseverance of many people – not least our sponsors – ensured the night was one to remember for all the right reasons.
It was wonderful to come together with so many cruise friends, celebrating achievements and generally having a good time – boy, it felt liberating. There was so much to catch up on and you can see a flavour of what occurred inside with our special coverage.
As for the real nitty gritty of this issue, we take a look at accessibility in the cruise sector and what the industry is doing to create holidays for all. Meanwhile, we take a deep dive into Fred Olsen Cruise Lines’ new flagship, Bolette, to discover what’s in store on board. We find that there are plenty of firsts for guests to look forward to on the ship, particularly when it comes to cuisine.
