Cruise & Maritime Voyages (CMV) has announced the itineraries for new flagship Amy Johnson for summer 2021, which include three Arctic voyages sailing from London Tilbury.

The first cruise, a 22-night Arctic Voyage Greenland & Iceland Experience, will depart 20 June 2021.

It will include an overnight stay in Iceland’s capital Reykjavik, offering guests the opportunity to explore the natural wonders of Iceland, including the blue lagoon, geysers, waterfalls and glaciers.

Highlights will include an overnight stay in Ilulissat, noted for whale-watching hiking and vast icebergs that float through nearby Disko Bay.

Amy Johnson will sail on a similar itinerary on 7 August 2021 without the overnight stay in Reykjavik, but with an added call in Rotterdam for the CMV Fleet Parade & Regatta on 28 August 2021.

Fares for both 22-night Arctic Greenland & Iceland Experience voyages are from £1,779 per person.

The 38-night Grand Arctic Voyage to Greenland, Spitzbergen & Iceland will sail from London Tilbury 22 July 2021. It sails inside the Arctic Circle to the North Cape, the northernmost point of Europe and the Land of the Midnight Sun. The ship will overnight in Reykjavik and include six stops in Greenland. Fares start from £2,749 per person.

CMV’s new flagship joins the fleet in April 2021, taking CMV’s fleet of cruise ships to six.

Amy Johnson is named after the pioneering British pilot, who was the first woman to fly solo from London to Australia. The name for CMV’s new flagship was selected following votes made by loyalty club members.

Last month, CMV revealed that bookings were still being made for its cruises later in 2020 and 2021 in spite of the global coronavirus pandemic.
