Celebrity Cruises has announced plans to invest more than $250 million to upgrade its Solstice series vessels
Starting with Celebrity Solstice in 2026, the renovations include refreshed outdoor spaces with enhanced views, new restaurants and entertainment options, as well as new stateroom categories and ship-wide cabin upgrades.
“Our Solstice series ships represent the best of classic cruising, and now we’re elevating this vacation experience even further by adding brand new experiences and enhancements at every turn,” said Laura Hodges Bethge, president of Celebrity Cruises.
“Guests will enjoy more ways to explore and restore, all while staying true to what made our guests fall in love with these ships in the first place.”
The refurbishment will see the addition of a new entertainment venue, Boulevard Lounge, as well as Boulevard Bar and Celebrity Barcade, a sports bar with board games, darts and billiards.
New restaurants include Italian Trattoria Rossa and Fine Cut Steakhouse, which first debuted on the line’s Edge series.
Sunset Park, a new half acre outdoor space, will offer cocktails, lawn games and open-air concerts, as well as new private cabanas and an expanded Sunset Bar.
The Retreat will benefit from enhanced suites, a new sundeck with outdoor seating and a hot tub, as well as a redesigned Retreat Lounge.
AquaClass staterooms will be updated with spa-inspired elements, like massaging shower heads, aroma therapy diffusers, in-room yoga mats, robes and slippers.
New stateroom categories, available to book mid-June 2025, include The Panoramic Infinite Veranda Suite, Deluxe Panoramic Oceanview Suite, Panoramic Ocean View Suite and Deluxe Panoramic Ocean View.
Enhancements also include a design refresh to Café Al Bacio, Cellar Masters, World Class Bar, Martini Bar, Pool Bar, Passport Bar, Blu (exclusive to AquaClass guests), Luminae (exclusive to guests of The Retreat), the Fitness Center, and Camp at Sea.
