Celebrity Cruises has announced that it will invite UK agents to see its upcoming ship, the Celebrity Edge, later this year.

Visits for up to 50 agents are expected to take place on 12-13 September.

Richard Fain, chairman and chief executive of Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd, and Celebrity president and chief executive, Lisa Lutoff-Perlo, will host the events.

The ship, which is due to launch in December 2018, is Celebrity’s first in the new Edge-class.

Celebrity Cruises recently cut the first piece of steel on the second ship in the class, Celebrity Apex, while it expects to launch the third and fourth Edge-class ships in 2021 and 2022.
