Celebrity Cruises has launched new online initiatives to enable its trade partners to celebrate Pride.
The line was due to hold its fourth annual Pride at Sea party, led by new ship Celebrity Apex, but has instead released a video capturing moments from previous celebrations, both on land and at sea, and a host of new agent tools.
The line’s dedicated agent hub, Celebrity Central, now features an enhanced collection of LGBTQ+ brand and marketing resources to ensure agents feel confident and updated on all the latest support, selling tools and initiatives.
In addition, Celebrity has updated its LGBTQ+ Toolkit, refreshing it with new inclusive flyers, images and video assets, along with LGBTQ+ friendly itinerary recommendations for 2021 in a social-ready format.
A dedicated diversity and inclusion training course is also available on Celebrity Passport.
Celebrity also ran a #CheesyGrin campaign earlier this year, to support the charity Reuben’s Retreat. The line has also backed agents throughout the pandemic through its Celebrity Rewards programme, offering up a range of incentives such as Netflix gift cards.
Travel agents looking to sign up for Celebrity Rewards or searching for further information as to how they can redeem their reward points should visit celebritycentral.co.uk.
Royal Caribbean Cruises brands recently unveiled a new suite of training modules on the RCL Cares platform, which is designed to help agents to maximise their return to service following the covid-19 pandemic.
Celebrity Cruises vice-president EMEA Jo Rzymowska said: “It’s fantastic to see so many of our trade partners already benefiting from RCL Cares.
“We’re seeing strong use of the site, and the feedback has been resoundingly positive – especially concerning its ease of use and the breadth of content available – from links to UK government and ABTA advice to our latest corporate messaging, alongside details of the RCL Cruise with Confidence policy.
“There’s something to help everyone navigate this unprecedented time.”
