Michelle Ryan has expanded her remit as Ireland country manager of APT Luxury and Travelmarvel to include Northern Ireland
Ryan was appointed as the line’s first dedicated country manager for Ireland in 2024 and has now been promoted to provide dedicated support to agents in Northern Ireland as well.
Since joining two years ago, Ryan has “played a key role in developing the Irish market, driving brand awareness and helping Travelmarvel achieve double-digit, year-on-year sales growth while strengthening relationships with the Irish travel trade,” said a spokesperson for the line.
Ryan said: “With the rapid growth of the Irish market over the last two years, I am excited to extend my support to agents in Northern Ireland.
“I’ve had the pleasure of working with the market previously and know firsthand how important having dedicated on-the-groung support is. I’m excited to once again support the region and reconnect with colleagues and friends in the market.”
Brad Bennetts, head of sales for APT Luxury and Travelmarket, said: “Ireland represents a significant growth opportunity for both APT Luxury and Travelmarvel and we’re delighted to expand Michelle’s role to provide dedicated, on-the-ground support for agents.
“Already well known in the market from her years of industry experience, Michelle has a strong track record of supporting and growing brand recognition in the Northern Irish market.
“When we entered the Irish market, we were one of only a handful of river cruise operators actively investing in the region. As the market continues to evolve and attract new entrants, maintaining a strong local presence is more important than ever.”
