Ambassador Cruise Line has revealed details about its travel agent concession programme for 2023/24.
The scheme, which is returning for a second year, will give agents the opportunity to experience the line’s two ships – Ambience and Ambition.
Ambition will set sail on its maiden voyage in May. The ship has received a series of environmental upgrades at the Lloyd Werft shipyard in Bremerhaven, Germany.
Fares start at £50pp per night and agents will also be eligible for a 15 per cent discount on any drinks package, plus 25 per cent off port parking. The offer is valid for cruises of up to 15 nights.
Concessions are limited to 10 cabins per sailing, on a first-come, first-served basis, with agents able to make a maximum of one concession booking per year.
To be eligible, agents need to have made at least one booking with Ambassador and show proof of employment by providing their ABTA number.
All guests must be fully insured with Covid-19 cover and fully vaccinated in line with the company policy in place at the time of sailing.
Agents ‘integral’ to Ambassador Cruise Line
Ambassador Cruise Line head of distribution Nicola Harper said: “Our valued trade partners continue to be a priority for us.
“Following the success of the agent concession programme last year, we wanted to continue to give agents the opportunity to sail on our ships and learn about the Ambassador brand.
“Having agents immerse themselves in our product offering is integral to support their promotion of Ambassador to their clients.”
Earlier this year, Ambassador added to its trade team with the appointment of Karen Cameron as divisional sales manager, covering the north of England, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Ambassador also reported at the start of the year that its booking revenue was up 341 per cent year-on-year for the first two weeks of January, with a “healthy outlook on future sailings”.
