Ambassador Cruise Line announces ship visit programme

Ambassador Cruise Line outlines ship visit schedule

Ambassador Cruise Line has opened registrations for its UK-wide ship visit programme.

Travel agents will be able to get on board either Ambience – which is currently in service – or Ambition, which launches this May.

From 12 May, Ambassador Cruise Line will sail from seven UK ports and as part of the ship visit initiative, trade partners could join one of the ships in London Tilbury, Newcastle, Dundee, Liverpool, Belfast, Bristol, or Falmouth.

To register for a place, agents need to complete an online form via the trade partners area on the line’s website.

Meanwhile, to register for a group visit, travel agents should email [email protected] for a registration form.

Ambassador Cruise Line ‘proud’ to showcase ships

Ambassador Cruise Line head of distribution Nicola Harper said: “We are delighted to announce a range of ship visits this year.

“We know there is nothing like seeing and experiencing a product and the whole Ambassador team is extremely proud to showcase our premium-value product to our valued trade partners.”

Ambassador’s latest travel agent incentive includes a bonus prize of the line paying an agent’s rent or mortgage for one month.

It is part of a wider campaign to thank agents for their “hard work and continued support through 2022 and into 2023”.

Also this month, the line announced that Ambition will receive a series of environmental upgrades before entering service.

It will undergo work during a dry dock at the Lloyd Werft shipyard in Bremerhaven, Germany.

The upgrades will make the ship IMO Tier III compliant and in the top 10-15 per cent of environmentally sustainable ships worldwide, according to the cruise line.
