A host of agents were honoured for their achievements at the fifth annual UK Cruise Awards.
Hosted by Carnival at the Underglobe, under Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, Carnival Cruise Lines, Cunard, Holland America Line, P&O Cruises, Princess Cruises and Seabourn rewarded their top travel agency partners for their business and loyalty over the past year.
Each Carnival brand gave two awards, the first for ‘Partnership Development’ and the second ‘Outstanding Contribution’.
The special award recipients were selected and presented on behalf of all the brands.
The Shining Star gong – which recognises the outstanding contribution of an individual within the travel industry – was presented by ITV’s Richard Arnold and Seabourn managing director Lynn Narraway to Anna Perrott of Travel Bag.
The final award, the Carnival UK Trade Partner of the Year, was given by P&O Cruises’ CEO Paul Ludlow to the team at Iglu Cruise, and was collected by Simone Clarke.
