Unforgettable Greece to operate new ship in 2023

Unforgettable Greece has announced it will operate a new boutique ship as part of its 2023 cruise programme.

Elysium will depart on a seven-night itinerary from the port of Lavriou near Athens, on an island-hopping route that will provide a “mix of both lesser-known and more popular destinations”, a statement said.

Destinations will include Sifnos, Naxos, Milos, Mykonos, Koufonisia, Serifos and Santorini, with 18 departures in total, sailing from May to October 2023. Prices start from £2,395pp.

The 48-guest Elysium, refurbished in 2021, features an on-board spa and mini gym, open-air jacuzzi, swimming platform, complimentary yoga and pilates and an array of water sports equipment.

In addition to Elysium, Unforgettable Greece is also operating the Galileo vessel for 2023, with seven-night Greece island cruises priced from £2,195pp.

Greece ‘popular for small-ship cruising’

Unforgettable Travel Group commercial director Graham Carter said: “We’re so excited to bring this new boutique ship to run alongside the other vessels we work with in the Greek isles.

Elysium’s stunning on-board facilities, combined with unparalleled service and in-destination experiences, means we will offer a truly unforgettable travel experience.

“Greece is rapidly becoming as popular for small-ship cruising as Croatia, so next year is the perfect time for guests to consider sailing across this beautiful destination.”

Unforgettable Greece is part of the Unforgettable Travel Group.

The group launched its Unforgettable Croatia 2023 small-ship cruising programme earlier this year, with 127 sailings, comprising six ships, across five itineraries.
