Unforgettable Croatia praises agents for ‘record-breaking’ year

Unforgettable Travel boss Graham Carter

Unforgettable Croatia has praised its agent partners for helping it achieve a record-breaking year for bookings

The luxury small-ship operator revealed that bookings through the trade increased by 24 per cent in 2024, with a total of 1,346 guests booking via a travel agent for its May-October sailing season.

Overall, Unforgettable Croatia secured its highest-ever occupancy rate, at 99.21 per cent, alongside a total cabin capacity increase of 20 per cent to 2,286 from 1,905 in 2023.

In August, the operator welcomed the trade on its inaugural fam trip, which saw 13 agents and their plus ones sail on a four-night Dalmatian Coast itinerary onboard the 38-guest Memories from Dubrovnik to Split.

It comes as the line confirmed that 65 per cent of its cabin allocation for next year has already sold to date. Its 2025 programme comprises a total of 2,500 cabins, a 9 per cent year-on-year increase, in part due to the launch of new ship, MS Aretis, taking its fleet to six.

Graham Carter, chief commercial officer at Unforgettable Croatia, said: “We’d like to thank agents for all their support in achieving this significant increase in bookings.

“We know the trade are keen to learn more about our product and what makes us unique, which is why hosting our first-ever fam trip was such a milestone moment and a wonderful opportunity to showcase what we offer. We can’t wait to see how our relationships develop in 2025 and beyond.”

Earlier this year, Carter joined a roundtable discussion hosted by Cruise Trade News on the increasing popularity of the small ship cruising sector, and why the market segment deserves a seat at the table.
