Travel technology firm Inspiretec is offering CLIA travel agent members the opportunity to trial its CRM product for free, for three months.
The company recently updated its travel platform to include cruise-specific components such as cabin type, dining preferences, preferred region or river, and more.
Inspiretec said the CRM system has been designed to give cruise agents “a single view of their customers in one place, so they know what they are searching and enquiring about, what they are booking and when”.
Agents can also create targeted marketing campaigns based on previous enquiries and bookings.
This, Inspiretec said, will give agents the ability to “handpick their customers’ preferred cruise line, ocean or river choices, fly or no-fly option, and send targeted sales and marketing information to them based on their previous interactions”.
Inspiretec cruise relationship manager Gareth Arnold added: “As cruise moves closer to setting sail again, customer engagement has never been more important.
“We all know how tough the last year has been and as customers begin cruising again the market will be more competitive than ever before.
“Having the right tools in place to talk to customers effectively and maximise conversion, yet still ensuring that personal touch, will be hugely important.
“We hope CLIA agents will take up this trial offer and use it as an opportunity to see just what this system can offer to their business.”
