SeaDream Yacht Club has announced a new era in luxury yachting with the launch of SeaDream Innovation, a revolutionary new ship.

The cruise industry has predicted that there will be a record number of newbuilds, emerging cruise brands, and expedition ships this year. Now in April, it seems this prediction is accurate as there have already been an impressive number of ship introductions.

SeaDream Innovation will go to the world’s most remote destinations

Case in point is SeaDream Yacht Club, which has announced the introduction of its new ship, SeaDream Innovation. This is the first time since it was founded in 2001 that SeaDream is expanding its fleet and the new vessel is expected to arrive in September 2021.

SeaDream Innovation will sail to all seven continents in its first year, visiting more than 200 ports in 49 countries, including Svalbard, the Northwest Passage, Antarctica, the fjords of Norway, Japan, New Zealand and the Great Barrier Reef. At 15,600 gross tons and measuring 155m, the ship outranks SeaDream I and SeaDream II in terms of size and capacity.

As well as taking guests to the world’s most remote and unique destinations, the mega ship also promises to do so in luxury and style. While grand in scale, it has been SeaDream’s mission to design a ship that offered the very best facilities, from luxury accommodations to 5-star dining, in a relaxed and comfortable setting.

Damen Shipyards was responsible for making this vision a reality, with all spaces having been designed to elevate the guest experience at sea, including three marinas and outdoor dining. The ship boasts 110 elegantly appointed, ocean-view suites, thereby offering an intimate and all-inclusive experience with a one-to-one guest to crew ratio.

“This project has been a dream of mine for many years,” comments Atle Brynestad, Owner, Chairman and CEO of SeaDream. “It has been a true labour of love to meticulously design every aspect of this yacht, from the interiors and facilities to the itineraries.”

SeaDream is now accepting reservations from club members and guests who have previously sailed aboard SeaDream’s classic yachts. Reservations will open to the public from 17 April 2019, seadream.com
