Following strong demand for their debut combined river and ocean voyages, Seabourn and Uniworld have announced a spate of new itineraries for 2027
Seabourn and Uniworld Boutique River Cruises launched their first combined ultra-luxury river and ocean cruise earlier this year, selling out in just six weeks.
In response, the companies have introduced new packages for 2027 with bookings open from 27 December 2025. These will feature longer itineraries, higher accommodation categories and itineraries on Seabourn Ovation, an all-veranda suite ship.
Chris Townson, UK and Europe managing director at Uniworld, said: “Our collaboration with Seabourn is the first time an ultra-luxury river and ocean cruise brand have combined in this way.
“For 2027 we are launching longer itineraries, higher room categories and more capacity, reflecting demand from guests to invest in a higher-end experience. The partnership continues to strengthen and is positive for our agent partners as we bring new products to market.”
One option will be the 16-day Venice, Adriatic and Aegean Seas itinerary, which combines Uniworld’s Venice and the Jewels of the Veneto river cruise aboard La Venezia with eight nights on Seabourn Ovation. The ocean segment sails from Fusina to Croatia, Malta, the Aeolian Islands, Sorrento and Civitavecchia. The cruise departs Venice on 6 June 2027.
Clients can also extend the trip to 19 days with a three-night stay in Ljubljana. The extension includes accommodation at the InterContinental Ljubljana and guided sightseeing in Slovenia.
A second itinerary, Wonders of the Adriatic and the Venetian Lagoon, departs on 5 June 2027. It begins with eight nights aboard Seabourn Ovation sailing from Athens to Fusina on a Best of Italy, Croatia and Malta route. Guests then join La Venezia for seven nights exploring Venice and its islands with Uniworld.
Lynn Narraway, vice president UK and EMEA at Seabourn, added: “For 2027 we are offering more choice. It works well alongside the La Venezia, and the cruises have been combined into a single, fully commissionable package that is straightforward for agents to sell.”
Marketing activity for the 2027 programme launches on Boxing Day, with sales materials including a 42-page brochure, ship videos, digital assets and sales guidance for travel agents.
