Hebridean Island Cruises has launched a new cruise training platform to bolster its relationship with the UK travel trade
The luxury Scottish operator, which specialises in small ship cruising, said the new offering will help agents sell its fleet of three vessels, Hebridean Princess, Lord of the Highlands and Lord of the Glens.
Hebridean’s ships can access off-the-beaten-path islands, bays and lochs with destinations such as the Caledonian Canal and the Outer Hebrides included in its portfolio.
The training platform, hosted by OTT (Online Travel Training), consists of five courses relating to the company’s three vessels and the destinations they visit.
Hebridean’s business development and key account manager Hannah Cockell said the new platform comes as the line looks to “further its commitment” to the travel trade in the UK.
Hebridean offers cruise prize as part of training platform
“Without doubt, our products are unique and quite niche, so to be able share information this way is just fantastic,” she added.
The course is now live and anyone who completes it by 30 September 2024 will receive a personalised certificate and be entered into a prize draw to win a cruise for up to two people onboard any of Hebridean’s ships.
