Hebridean Island Cruises becomes member of CLIA

Hebridean Island Cruises

Hebridean Island Cruises has become an associate member of Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA).

Hebridean Island Cruises is an operator of unique luxury cruise ship Hebridean Princess, which carries 50 guests around the British Isles, Norway and France, and Royal Crown, a 1930s-style river ship which sails on the Dutch and Belgian Waterways, along with popular European rivers including the Rhine, Danube, Main and Moselle.

Through the partnership, Hebridean hopes to to develop and increase its presence and brand awareness with the travel trade.

The cruise line plans to launch its online training module to over 4,000 CLIA travel agents, which went live during the last week of September. It will also offer various incentives to encourage agents to complete the online module.

Hebridean’s managing director, Ken Charleson, said:

“Hebridean Island Cruises is always looking for ways to increase the number of travel agents who are aware of our luxury brand. Our online training module is a fantastic way for us to be able to work closer with agents so they can have a greater understanding of our brand and offerings.

“We look forward to developing our partnership with CLIA and its travel agent members over the next year and beyond.”

CLIA UK & Ireland director Andy Harmer said: “We are delighted to have Hebridean Island Cruises join us as an associate member of CLIA. This partnership will enable Hebridean to have access to CLIA training event and will open the door to opportunities to network with our agent members.”
