Saga Cruises has released artist’s impressions of its new ship which will be launched in summer 2019.
The thoughts and recommendations of passengers have been incorporated into the design and the ship will carry fewer than 1,000 passengers and feature 540 all-balcony cabins.

Some 20% of the accommodation will be for solo travellers, with a choice of single cabin grades.
Features will include single-sitting dining in a choice of speciality restaurants, a selection of bars, indoor and outdoor pools, a spa, a library, an observation lounge and signature Britannia Lounge.

David Pickett, new build director said: “The all-balcony cabins will be spacious and modern, designed with a fresh and contemporary twist.
“In fact, the whole ship has the ‘wow’ factor. It is being built at the Meyer Werft shipyard, in Hamburg, and at the moment we’re heavily focused on technical design, the engine, generator and propulsion plant; everything to make sure we deliver a practical, working ship of the highest specification.”
