Royal Caribbean unveils ‘innovative’ digital sales tool

Royal Caribbean International has released a new selling tool designed for both experienced and new travel agents.

Dubbed ‘My Royal Genie’, the “innovative system” enables trade partners to create custom digital brochures for their customers with videos and tailored content, the cruise line said.

It added that the overall aim of the tool is to help agents “bring to life the incredible experiences that a Royal Caribbean cruise offers in an engaging way that can be shared with the whole family”.

Available exclusively through the brand’s rewards and learning platform, Club Royal, partners need to answer questions on behalf of their client.

The tool will then deliver an interactive personalised brochure that can be sent directly to their customer either via email or WhatsApp.

Royal Caribbean ‘making selling easier’

Agents can track the engagement on a brochure via a dashboard and adjust their sales strategy accordingly.

Royal Caribbean International director of sales for UK, Ireland and Spain Stuart Byron said: “We are always looking for new and innovative ways we can support our trade partners and this new tool is the latest instalment in this mission.

“The tool makes it easier than ever for our partners to showcase the right holiday choice, based on their customer’s requirements, at just the click of a button.”

Earlier this year, Royal Caribbean announced that its trade competition, the Royal Pitch, is returning for a second season.
