Agents will have the chance to earn up to £500 per booking with a new trade incentive programme from Royal Caribbean
Launching 3 September, Upper Deck will be available on the line’s online travel agent learning and rewards platform, Club Royal, and will allow agents to earn cash-based rewards which increase depending on the booking.
Cash rewards start from £15 for bookings of £2,000 or more and will increase to £30 for bookings of £5,000 or more; £60 for bookings of £10,000 or more; £150 for bookings of £25,000 or more; and £500 for bookings of £50,000 or more. Money will be available on a prepaid digital Mastercard that will be delivered after the booking has been confirmed.
Furthermore, Upper Deck members who make group bookings will receive £10 as standard for each reservation, while agents who book their own Royal Caribbean holiday will receive a further £100 on their pre-paid Mastercard.
Meanwhile, those who record Royal Caribbean bookings in excess of £100,000 will be granted access to the Upper Deck 100 club, where they will be able to unlock exclusive experiences, including new ship previews and annual ship visits with their family.
Royal Caribbean will celebrate the launch of the new trade initiative by inviting 12 agents with the highest value booking from 3 September to 1 October to a five-night sailing from Miami on Independence of the Seas, departing 11 November.
Winners will visit The Bahamas and Perfect Day at CocoCay, while getting to enjoy the full breadth of the ship’s guest features.
Royal Caribbean to “raise the game” on agents’ earning potential
“Travel partners are a cornerstone of Royal Caribbean, and we have listened to their feedback to reimagine how they are rewarded by incentivising their efforts in securing higher-value bookings,” said Aaron Langford, senior sales director of U.K. and Ireland, Royal Caribbean International.
“With Upper Deck we are excited to raise the game on the earning potential for agents supporting our business and I can’t wait to welcome more agents, both new to the brand and new to cruise, as a result.”
