Royal Caribbean introduces new fly-cruise option

Venice, cruise, cruising, Royal Caribbean, fly cruise

Royal Caribbean has confirmed a new fly-cruise route from Edinburgh to Venice to meet agent demand in Scotland and the north of England.

The route – in partnership with Jet2.com – is the cruise line’s first of its kind since 2016. It will complement Rhapsody of the Seas 2020 itineraries.

Until 12 August trade partners can book guests onto selected 2020 sailings to Europe with flights for just £1 per person.

Royal Caribbean UK & Ireland sales director Martin MacKinnon said: “We’ve listened to our trade partners and are thrilled to offer a new direct flight from Edinburgh to Venice.

“By booking the full fly-cruise holiday with us, guests will benefit from Jet2’s 22kg baggage and 10kg hand luggage allowances, plus trade partners are able to reassure their customers that they’ll receive our Assured Arrival promise, which guarantees they get to their cruise, regardless of flight delays or cancellations.”

Rhapsody of the Seas is sailing from Venice in 2020, on six, seven and eight-night itineraries to destinations around Europe including Dubrovnik, Mykonos, Santorini and Kotor.

Trade partners can find out more information at MyClubRoyal.co.uk.
