Regent Seven Seas Cruises is celebrating following the announcement that its 2023 world cruise has “shattered” its opening day booking record.

Bookings for the voyage – the luxury line’s longest since 2011 – were double that of the previous record set by the 2022 world cruise.

The line stated that it had experienced the longest waitlist for a world cruise in its history, with all Penthouse suites and above selling out within a matter of hours after sales opened on 23 September.

The 143-night itinerary will depart on 7 January 2023 and will take place on Seven Seas Mariner. 

Guests will visit South America, South Pacific Islands, Australia, Southeast Asia, the Indian subcontinent, the Middle East, Africa and Spain along the way.

In addition, Regent states that guests will be “treated to exclusive shoreside experiences in three highly exotic destinations – Bali, Singapore, and Walvis Bay, Namibia”.
