This week marks the fourth birthday of Royal Caribbean’s Club Rewards scheme. Since its launch it “has grown into one of the travel industry’s leading agent incentive schemes, rewarding its valued trade partners with money-can’t-buy experiences, special gifts and access to exclusive events and incentives”, according to the cruise line.

Club Rewards’ members have to date registered a total of 369,907 bookings, earning rewards equivalent in value to sailing in Royal Caribbean’s Ultimate Family Suite onboard Symphony of the Seas, on back-to-back sailings, for over a year and a half. In addition, 2,500 of its top-performing agents have been given a taste of the extraordinary first-hand when they have joined the cruise line as special guests on key ship launches over the past four years.

Approximately 70 per cent of all Royal Caribbean bookings since September 2014 have been registered and rewarded through the programme. A recent survey of members revealed that 93% ranked Club Rewards as their top loyalty programme, 95% of members claim for each of their Royal Caribbean bookings and 80% of members log in to use Club Rewards a minimum of once a month.
