SeaDream Yacht Club has launched seven wine-themed cruises in the Mediterranean next year.

Each will be joined by guest winemakers including Clovis Taittinger, who joins a wine-themed cruise from Piraeus to Civitavecchia next September, and feature wine tastings and excursions to premier wineries.

Passengers will be able to taste Burgundy wines from Maison Louis Jadot and visit Sorrentino winery at the base of Mount Vesuvius, the volcano that destroyed Pompeii.

On each cruise, a degustation menu created around the top cuvées from the visiting winemaker will be served. Wine tastings are complimentary but excursions and cuvées served at the dinner cost extra.

Prices start from £3,397 per person cruise-only for a seven days departing September 23.
