Due to the travel uncertainty caused by the coronavirus pandemic, Princess Cruises has made significant changes to its 2021 Northern Europe deployment.
As part of the change, 10 of Crown Princess’ British Isles voyages in 2021 will be moved to Sky Princess, departing on the same dates.
Sky Princess’ 2021 summer season in Europe will now consist of sailings to the British Isles and the Baltics. Cruises will depart from Southampton.
Sky Princess remaining Baltic sailings will change from an 11-day round-trip Copenhagen cruise to a 12-day round-trip from Southampton cruise, allowing British passengers to cruise without flying.
Finally, guests booked on Crown Princess‘ western Europe Passage will be moved to Regal Princess western Europe Passage departing on 23 October 2021.
As a result, Princess Cruises has cancelled voyages on both Crown Princess and its newest vessel Sky Princess.
The new British Isles and Baltic itineraries from Southampton are currently being finalised by the cruise line, and will be on sale later this month.
The changes and cancellations come just a day after Princess Cruises announced its new Australia and New Zealand 2021 and 2022 itineraries, along with a brand new world cruise.
One of its largest deployments ever offered, Princess will have five ships sailing to 82 destinations in 19 countries – offering 59 different itineraries.
Royal Princess, Emerald Princess, Sapphire Princess, Coral Princess, and Pacific Princess will all cruise in the region from homeports of Sydney Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Auckland, operating sailings from two to 36 days.
Along with the Australasia deployment, where cruises will go on sale on 16 September, the cruise line also announced a new world cruise aboard Coral Princess, which will also run out of Australasia.
Setting sail in May 2022, it will be Princess’ 15th annual Australasia-based world cruise and will sail from three homeports, including Australia’s Sydney, Brisbane and New Zealand’s Auckland.
The enticing cruise will sail a 107-day circumnavigation of the globe, visiting 43 destinations, 27 countries and six continents.
Tickets for the world cruise go on sale on 15 September.
