Princess Cruises has announced plans to offer more roundtrip Southampton voyages as part of its 2027 deployment
Majestic Princess will return to the UK after making its debut in Southampton in 2026 to offer domestic itineraries and Northern Europe departures, as part of the line’s 2027 UK and Europe cruise programme, which will feature more than 200 itineraries on five ships.
Sun Princess, Enchanted Princess, Majestic Princess, Sky Princess, and Caribbean Princess will operate 86 itineraries ranging from seven to 46 days to 108 destinations from February-November 2027.
Sky and Majestic will offer a total of 45 departures from Southampton across the season, compared to 32 in 2026. Sky will sail on Northern Europe and Mediterranean itineraries, from March to October.
Princess Cruises’ first Sphere Class ship, Sun Princess, will operate for eight months from April to November on voyages ranging from seven- to 32-nights, sailing from Barcelona, Civitavecchia, or Athens (Piraeus).
Sun will be joined by Enchanted, offering itineraries departing from Civitavecchia, Trieste, Athens (Piraeus) and Istanbul between May to November.
Meanwhile, Caribbean will sail roundtrip Copenhagen itineraries for the first time, taking guests to ports-of-call across the Baltic, including Oslo, Stockholm, and Helsinki.
The vessel will also make the line’s maiden call to Aberdeen on 24 August 2027 as part of a 16-night British Isles and Canadian transatlantic cruise from Copenhagen.
Furthermore, the 2027 UK and Europe season includes 22 transatlantic sailings, with departure/arrival cities including Boston, Fort Lauderdale, Port Canaveral, and Buenos Aires.
Eithne Williamson, vice president UK and Europe, said: “From castles to coastlines, our 2027 UK and Europe cruise programme provides ample opportunities for guests to explore the continent’s rich history and breathtaking landscapes.
“Guests can immerse themselves in thoughtful tourism experiences, with our programme including 100 UNESCO World Heritage Sites, and our ‘More Ashore’ overnight stays in iconic cities like Istanbul and Stockholm providing even more time for exploration.”
