Princess Cruises UK & Europe sales director Nick Hughes highlights the success of the line’s agent engagement events.
The weather might not have been too good this summer, but it has been a scorcher for Princess Cruises when it comes to our trade events.
Our sales team have been up and down the UK, as well as across Europe, getting in front of as many travel agents as possible.
By the end of 2023, we will have hosted more than 2,600 agents, a record-breaking number for Princess.
A particular highlight has been our family day ship visits. Agents were invited to bring their family on board for the day to experience Princess’ family offerings.
One new-to-cruise agent, who has three teenagers, told us she thought cruises would not be a viable option for a holiday until coming on board.
In her own words, she saw that “Princess caters for the whole family… making it the perfect holiday choice”.
On land, we’ve also hosted our first regional events in more than three years, as well as training initiatives, providing an opportunity to engage with our valued front-line agents across the country.
More regional and training events will take place by the end of the year, with details to be announced.
