Ponant expands UK team and launches trade incentive

Anthony Daniels, Ponant

Luxury expedition line Ponant has bolstered its UK trade sales team and unveiled a new agent competition

Marine Huguet, who previously worked for the brand in Marseille, has taken up the new role of commercial coordinator, joining Vladislav Saveliev, the line’s UK south & midlands sales manager, and Andrew Bolton, who came onboard in November to cover UK north, Scotland, and Ireland.

UK general manager Anthony Daniels said the addition will help Ponant “proactively support all business channels and opportunities” as it continues to grow its presence in the UK in 2025.

The appointment comes as the line unveils a new trade incentive which will see one agent win a seven-night cruise for two people departing this year.

To enter, agents must make a new booking with Ponant between 1 January and 28 February 2025. Agencies must be registered on PonantPro and be following the line’s Ponant UK & Ireland Trade Agents Facebook page.

Bookings have to be emailed to [email protected] with a confirmed booking reference by 4 March 2025 and multiple entries are allowed.

The draw will take place the week after the completion closes and the winner will be notified by the UK Ponant team.

The incentive forms part of the company’s 2025 wave offer, where customers can save an additional 10 per cent on more than 100 sailings across 2025 and 2026.

“This is a significant opportunity for both our trade partners and guests and as they are capacity controlled – they will sell out quickly,” Daniels advised.

“2025 marks an exhilarating year for Ponant UK. With our enhanced team structure, we’re poised to provide comprehensive support to our trade partners, allowing them to fully engage with Ponant and the exceptional opportunities we offer to their luxury guests.

“The UK trade is crucial to our success, and we eagerly anticipate collaborating deeper with our established partners while also finding effective ways to support those new to us.”
