Poseidon Expeditions has appointed Vladislav Saveliev as head of business development for the UK
He has been tasked with leading the polar expedition specialist's UK business development strategy, focusing on growing revenue, distribution and market presence.
Saveliev has more than 13 years' experience in the travel industry and was most recently UK business development manager for Ponant.
A spokesperson for Poseidon Expeditions said Saveliev's appointment comes at a "pivotal time as the company builds its new expedition vessel (slated to enter service in 2028) and continues to expand its global presence".
Saveliev said: "I am excited to join Poseidon Expeditions at such an important stage in the company's development.
"Trade partnerships are at the core of our focus, and I look forward to working closely with our valued partners across the UK to build lasting, collaborative relationships."
Angelica Vorea, Poseidon Expeditions chief executive, said: "We are delighted to welcome Vladislav to the team.
