Oceania Cruises bolsters UK sales team with two appointments

Oceania Cruises has further expanded its UK sales team with the appointments of Sam Richardson and Kim Gough.

It comes after the luxury line brought in former Cruise Circle head of product Mark Godden last month as its new sales manager for the south, reporting in to director of sales UK and Ireland Louise Craddock.

Richardson has been appointed as the brand’s regional sales executive with a focus on the north, while Gough joins as inside sales executive.

Richardson, who previously held roles at Ambassador Cruise Line and World Travel Holdings, will report directly to Craddock and will be on the road supporting travel partners.

Prior to joining Oceania’s UK sales team, Gough supported the line’s central Europe sales operation. She is based in the company’s Southampton head office and reports to senior sales support executive Leah Williams.

New recruits to help Oceania Cruises strengthen trade ties

The additions come, the line said, to ensure Oceania continues to strengthen its trade connections throughout its 20th year, consolidating relationships across the UK and Ireland.

The company said the introduction of its first Allura class ship, Vista, in May of this year has meant bookings are “stronger than ever”, a theme which Oceania predicts will continue with the introduction of Allura in 2025.

“I am delighted that we have strengthened our UK and Ireland sales team with strong candidates at such an exciting time for Oceania Cruises,” Craddock said. “Mark, Sam and Kim bring extensive experience and a fresh perspective to the team.”
