Luxury cruise line Oceania Cruises has appointed Mark Godden as sales manager.
Godden – who will primarily support agents in the south of the country – joins from Cruise Circle, where he was head of product.
Posting on LinkedIn, Godden said: “[I’m] so excited to be able to share that I started today with Oceania Cruises and will be working to help travel partners across the south of the UK grow their business.
“[There is] lots to learn over the next few weeks so if you are a travel partner, please bear with me and I’ll be in touch as soon as possible.
“Cannot wait to get started though.”
Speaking about his time at Cruise Circle, Godden added: “I couldn’t have worked with a better group of people that have pulled together during the worst of times, particularly over the last few years.
“I’ve been privileged to have had the opportunity to travel, see countless ships and have huge amounts of fun while getting some work done too.
“Massive thanks to my colleagues. Will miss you all and can’t wait to see the future successes that I know are on their way.”
Earlier this year, Oceania welcomed its latest ship, Vista, to the fleet. In June, the line also unveiled a new “value promise” to “elevate the guest experience”.
