Celebrity Cruises has appointed Leigh Aslett as sales director for the UK and Ireland, effective from 1 November
Aslett, who has worked for the line for 14 years and is currently head of sales for the EMEA region, will replace Nicola McNeish, who will begin her new position as senior director of sales, UK and Ireland for Silversea at the end of this month.
In her new role, Aslett has been tasked with leading the line's trade strategy and strengthening its position within the premium cruise market.
She will report to Claire Stirrup, Celebrity Cruises managing director for the UK and Ireland.
The line said: "Leigh brings a strong track record of driving commercial growth, strengthening strategic partnerships and delivering trade programmes across the region.
"During her time with Celebrity, Leigh has created and launched initiatives including Celebrity Central, a centralised trade platform, and the highly successful Celebrity for Beginners programme, helping educate and engage travel advisors across the region."
