The milestone marks the completion of the ship's exterior construction and the first time the vessel has touched water.

Celebrity Compass is slated to enter service in August 2027 as the first in the line's planned 20-ship fleet.

The multi-day float out began at Zwijnenburg shipyard in Rotterdam and saw the ship sail its first 80 kilometres on the river.
