Brexit is not stopping customers booking trips to Europe.
That’s according to river cruise and touring specialist, APT, which has seen an increase in bookings during the peak period, including a doubling of sales for its 15-day Magnificent Europe itinerary.
The company’s MD Paul Melinis said: “Like most of the industry we’ve been braced for a challenging peak period, but sales so far have surpassed our expectations.
“Clearly the ambiguity around Brexit has not stopped customers from planning trips to Europe in particular.
“Our Luxury Magnificent Europe cruise continues to be one of the most popular routes and with every detail included, passengers have less to worry about.”
APT’s current sale, which runs until the 28 February, offers a discount of up to £2,418pp on the Magnificent Europe itinerary, from Amsterdam to Budapest.
Trips run from April to December, with departures from £3,495pp.
For the duration of the sale, agents can win a FAM trip on the itinerary by booking guests on an APT tour.
