Nicko Cruises has released a travel agent selling guide in a bid to increase brand awareness in the UK market.

The operator showcased the new brochure at the CLIA RiverView Conference, held in Vienna in March.

Representatives from the cruise line and its UK general sales agency Light Blue Travel were in attendance at the event to meet agents and discuss future plans.

Nicko also hosted agents for a gala dinner and overnight stay on nickoVision, with ship tours held on the final day of the conference.

Nicko Cruises keen to grow awareness

Light Blue Travel commercial director Michelle Daniels said: “Nicko Cruises is well-known in Germany, however, our plans to grow the UK market were interrupted by the pandemic.

“The CLIA RiverView Conference gave us a huge opportunity to showcase the brand to the UK’s top river cruise agents.

“We produced the selling guide for UK agents as a handy Nicko Cruises reference tool, and as well as selling tips it details exactly what’s included in packages, sample menus and overviews of each vessel.

“The guide is available on request in print and can be viewed on the travel agents’ section of our website.”
