MSC Seascape to offer 'immersive' entertainment experiences

MSC Cruises has unveiled more details about the entertainment offerings on MSC Seascape.

The line’s newest Seaside-class ship, which launches in November, will feature six new productions created for the on-board Chora Theatre.

Imaginocean, an ocean-themed production, will showcase aerial and flying acts, aquatic animal puppetry, vocalists, and dancers, while Dreamscape will “transport guests from real life to fantasy with circus performers, dancers and singers, along with interactive videos”, MSC said.

An In Concert show will feature vocalists and dancers performing rock classics, and Premiere will delve into cinematic history with songs from blockbuster films.

Shall We Dance will highlight a variety of dance styles such as Latin, ballroom, and contemporary, and include what MSC calls “technical artistry that will wow guests”.

Meanwhile, in Love Blooms, guests will see “larger-than-life costumes and a blooming garden that comes to life”.

‘Spectacular’ shows await on MSC Seascape

The new Le Cabaret Rouge – inspired by French cabaret lounges of the 1920s – will provide a space for guest to enjoy live performances and other acts.

MSC Seascape will also have 21 thematic nights on board, complete with their own immersive costumes and decorations, including Country Night, Star for a Night and Hollywood Night.

MSC Cruises global head of entertainment Steve Leatham said: “MSC Seascape is an exciting new addition to our Seaside class of ships with some of the most remarkable entertainment options that our guests have ever seen.

“Inspired by New York City, which is home to world-famous Broadway shows and musical productions, MSC Seascape features spectacular new shows and full-scale productions that will dazzle all our guests.

“These new top notch entertainment options will take our on-board experience to the next level with superb performers, gorgeous stage design and excellent production quality.”

In early September, MSC Cruises also revealed that MSC Seascape will include Robotron, described as a “thrilling amusement ride that offers the breathtaking thrill of a rollercoaster at sea combined with a personalised DJ music experience”.
