Last-minute delights: NCL puts focus on Europe 2026

Norwegian Cruise Line, NCL

Sponsored by Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL)

There’s still time to secure a European holiday of a lifetime with Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) this summer

From the bright lights of Barcelona to the serene waters of Split, there’s plenty of reason to promote NCL’s Europe 2026 season to guests still looking to secure their holiday for this summer.

Everyone wants to relax when they’re on holiday. With NCL, guests’ shoulders hang a bit lower when they meander through the onboard spaces. Muscles are a bit more relaxed while they ponder which excursion to take, or which restaurant to try next.

This is due to the line’s flexible, curated and effortless approach to cruising. NCL empowers every guest to holiday their own way, whether that means unwinding by the pool or at Mandara Spa®, or living it up at the aqua park, arcade and countless other onboard attractions.

This summer, NCL is taking this mantra with them to the continent. The line is offering a seven-day Mediterranean from Barcelona to Lisbon itinerary aboard Norwegian Dawn®, with departures available from April to October 2026 and May to September 2027. Inside cabins start from £715pp* and balcony options from £1,550pp*, based on a 21 June 2026 sailing.

In Spain, guests will stop in Valencia, where old-world charm meets modern architectural wonders in this eclectic city. They can wander through bustling Gothic plazas and explore the awe-inspiring City of Arts and Sciences, a museum and cinema complex designed by world-famous architect Santiago Calatrava.

Back onboard, travellers can fill up at guest-favourite Los Lobos Cantina, a sophisticated Mexican restaurant celebrating traditional flavours with a modern twist, or drop by The Cellars, a Michael Mondavi Family Wine Bar, for a tipple or two.

Meanwhile, from May to October 2026, Norwegian Epic® will sail a seven-day Mediterranean cruise from Barcelona to Rome (Civitavecchia), calling in Nice, Florence and Salerno on the Amalfi Coast. Prices start from £750pp* for an inside cabin, based on an 18 October sailing.

In Florence, guests can see Santa Croce, Piazza del Duomo and Michelangelo’s David. Then, in Salerno, which is nestled between the mountains and the sea at the south-eastern point of the famed Amalfi Coast, they can enjoy sun-drenched beaches, nature reserves and parks, historic sites and delicious local cuisine.

For fans of a cooler climate, NCL will sail 11-day Northern Europe itineraries from Southampton to Reykjavik on Norwegian Star® from May to August this year. Inside cabins start from £1,765pp* for a 23 August departure. The itinerary includes a stop in one of Norway’s most beautiful towns, Ålesund, renowned for its Jugend-style architecture and Art Nouveau style. Cruise visitors will immediately notice the location’s unique layout, as it is built on islands extending into the sea and offers scenic views of fjords and the Sunnmøre Alps.

With a wide choice of itineraries, standout destinations and NCL’s trademark freedom to cruise your way, there’s still plenty of opportunity to inspire last-minute bookers for Europe 2026.
