HX Expeditions has promoted Nathaniel Sherborne to senior vice president and managing director, EMEA, ANZ, and global sales enablement
Sherborne joined HX in 2023 as vice president of sales and marketing for the UK and Nordics, bringing more than a decade of commercial leadership across the travel industry.
In his expanded remit, Sherborne will lead commercial strategy across EMEA and ANZ, while also continuing to oversee global sales enablement to support HX’s international growth and its increasing focus on science, education, and strategic partnerships.
The brands GX (Guest Excellence) team has also moved under Nathaniel’s leadership, bringing customer and trade experience into closer alignment with the brand’s commercial strategy.
“The broadening of my remit across EMEA and ANZ, alongside continuing to lead global sales enablement and the integration of our GX team, comes at an important time for HX as we move toward our 130th anniversary,” said Sherborne.
“As we approach this milestone, these developments strengthen our ability to elevate the customer experience, drive performance across key regions, and support the next phase of the brand’s global growth.”
This announcement follows HX’s recent 2027/28 itinerary launch. Earlier this year, HX joined CLIA in the UK in a bid to reinforce its ongoing commitment to the trade.
At the time, Sherborne, said the move reflects the line’s commitment to agents in the UK and highlights its ambition to further strengthen relationships across the cruise industry.
“As the number one expedition operator in the UK with our 130th anniversary on the horizon, this is a timely opportunity to deepen engagement, share our vision for responsible exploration, and collaborate with partners who are equally passionate about sustainable, experience-led travel.”
