Hays Travel rewards top-performing cruise agents with US trip

Hays Travel Captain's Table trip

Hays Travel homeworking division has rewarded its top 15 cruise selling agents with an all-inclusive trip to the US.

The group, which travelled from Heathrow to New York with Virgin Atlantic, visited the Bahamas, Florida and Coco Cay and sailed on Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas.

Head of Hays Travel’s homeworking division Tanya Cooper, who led the inaugural “Captain’s Table” trip, said: “We designed this trip to thank our top 15 cruise selling personal travel consultants and Explorer agents and to congratulate them on a successful year.”

After arriving in New York on 7 October, the group spent a night taking in the sights before embarking on Oasis of the Seas in Manhattan Harbour for a sunset sailing.

“It was just as perfect as I imagined,” said Cooper, “we gathered on deck, glass in hand, and left the sights of Manhattan behind – the ultimate sundowner moment.”

Hays Travel homeworkers “grateful for unforgettable experience”

The group’s next stop was Florida to visit Cape Canaveral on the Atlantic Coast, before heading to Perfect Day at Coco Cay, Royal Caribbean’s private island.

On day five the agents toured Sandals’ exotic Royal Bahamian all-inclusive resort, before rejoining Oasis of the Seas for the return sailing to New York where they took a tour of the newly opened Virgin Hotel before flying back to the UK on 16 October.

Personal travel consultant Catherine Nathwani said she feels “so valued” as a PTC in Hays Travel. “I am so grateful to have had this experience with my friends and colleagues; I’ve come away with so much more knowledge on Virgin Atlantic, Royal Caribbean and Virgin Hotels,” she added.

It comes after Royal Caribbean last month revealed the name of its second Icon class vessel, which is due to launch in summer 2025.
