Fred Olsen’s Brabant to visit 43 ports in 2020 season

Brabant, cruise, cruising, river cruise, Fred Olsen,

Fred Olsen River Cruises has launched its 2020 river cruise programme aboard the Brabant.

Guests can choose from 26 itineraries covering 43 ports of call. There are also 10 maiden calls on the 156-guest Brabant, along the Rhine, Moselle, Main and Danube rivers.

Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines river sales manager Keith Norman said: “We enjoyed a very successful inaugural season on Brabant in 2018, but we recognise that we have to build on this first river cruise programme, and learn from our experiences, in an increasingly competitive market.

“As such, we have been working hard to create a range of even richer, more immersive itineraries to enable our guests – both existing and new – to make memories to last a lifetime, both on board and ashore.”

New for 2020 are maiden sailings into Luxembourg and cruises of the Danube Delta. Other inaugural calls include Trier and Nierstein, in Germany; Cetate, Galați and Dobreta-Turnu Severin, in Romania; Donji Milanovac, in Serbia; Enkhuizen, in the Netherlands; and Vukovar, Croatia.

Fred Olsen is also introducing a new enrichment programme for 2020, to be featured on the majority of sailings. This will include on-board speakers tailored to the itinerary.

Highlights include:

  • The 14-night Eastern Europe Discovery to the Danube Delta fly-cruise (flights from London / Manchester), ex Budapest, Hungary, departing 31 May 2020. Prices start from £2,899pp
  • A seven-night Sailing the Scenic Moselle to Luxembourg fly-cruise (flights from London / Manchester), ex Cologne, Germany, departing 9 August 2020. Prices start from £1,699pp
  • A seven-night Historic Gems of Germany fly-cruise (flights from London / Manchester). Departing 27 September 2020. Prices start from £1,599pp
