Explora Journeys has expanded its sales team for the UK and Ireland with the appointment of Koral Lipton

Lipton, who was previously business development manager for APT Travel Group, has joined the luxury arm of MSC Group as business relationship expert, bringing Explora Journeys’ sales team to five.

Reporting into head of sales UK and Ireland Priti Mehta, working closely with business relationship leads Jenny Wade and Andrew Schweitzer, Lipton will be responsible for Scotland, Northern Ireland, and the Republic of Ireland.

Capitalising on her experience at APT Travel Group and Gold Medal, where she leveraged her contacts across these regions, she will be supporting partners to educate and inform them on the new luxury offering which set sail in August 2023.

Lipton to assist Explora Journeys in trade training

Mehta said: “We are thrilled to have Koral onboard to help foster more meaningful partnerships across the north of the UK, and the Republic of Ireland. We see strong growth potential in these regions and Koral’s appointment will help form closer relationships there.”

Lipton will be assisting with training, brokering partnership agreements, and overseeing tailored marketing activity amongst her network of travel advisors, both old and new.

It comes after the line launched its first wave season promotion in the UK at the start of the year.
