Explora reshapes Explora I’s 24/25 season to aid US growth

Explora Journeys takes delivery of first luxury ship, Explora I

Explora Journeys has reshaped Explora I’s winter 2024-2025 season to support the brand’s growth in North America.

From October 2024 to April 2025, the vessel will now sail a Caribbean season instead of Central America itineraries as the line looks to bolster its standing amongst the US market.

Its winter 2024-2025 season will start with a sailing from Barcelona to the Caribbean featuring Bridgetown, Pointe-à-Pitre, St John’s and San Juan.

From April and November 2025, the ship will offer shorter itineraries of six- to eight-nights and longer voyages of 19- to 21-nights in the Mediterranean across homeports such as Barcelona and Civitavecchia before repositioning to the Red Sea and Arabian Peninsula for its winter 2025/2026 season.

Explora Journeys to base second ship in Europe

Meanwhile, the line’s second vessel, Explora II, will sail its maiden itinerary from Barcelona to Civitavecchia calling in Ibiza, Port-Vendres, Portofino, Monte-Carlo and Port Santo Stefano.

It will then continue to sail in the West Mediterranean until November 2024 when it will cross the Atlantic to offer Caribbean itineraries during the winter months.

In May 2025, Explora II will spend the summer sailing a collection of journeys with stops in Barcelona or Civitavecchia and winter 2025-2026 will be spent in the Eastern Caribbean with calls in Pointe-a-Pitre, Roseau, Little Bay and Marigot.
