Exclusive: Agents ’empowered’ following Queen Anne Norway fam

Cunard fam trip Queen Anne

Travel agents from across the UK were left determined to boost their luxury sales following a week-long familiarisation trip aboard Cunard’s Queen Anne

Speaking exclusively to Cruise Trade News, Iain Baillie, the luxury line’s associate vice president of UK and EMEA sales, said: “There’s no substitute for experiencing Cunard’s unique luxury proposition firsthand.

“This fam trip empowered our valued travel agent partners with the knowledge and confidence to sell Cunard with passion and expertise as they immersed themselves in our signature style.”

He continued: “We’re committed to deepening our connections with the trade and can’t wait to welcome more agents on board to discover firsthand why Cunard continues to set the standard for luxury ocean travel.”

The line hosted 29 agents from 17 agencies onboard its newest vessel for a seven-night Norwegian Fjords voyage from 4-11 July.

Delegates joined speciality dining experiences in Sir Samuel’s steakhouse and Tramonto, a Mediterranean eatery, and attended the Bright Lights Society – Queen Anne’s immersive show bar – to watch Noir.

They also took part in a shore experience to a glassblowing factory in Oslo and had access to the Mareel Wellness & Beauty spa.

Lisa Robinson, branch manager at Fred Olsen Colchester, said: “I had an amazing time on board Queen Anne. The week was fun, informative and a fantastic opportunity to experience all that Cunard and Queen Anne has to offer.

“I had a blast and cannot wait to start recommending Queen Anne and booking my clients. The whole experience had the perfect balance of training, free time and pre-arranged meet ups.”
