A travel agent has thanked Regent Seven Seas Cruises for helping her and her husband create “long lasting memories” during an Aston Martin Aramco Formula One experience
Cate Rizzo from Iglu Cruise and her husband joined Regent’s vice president of sales UK Paul Beale for the VIP event which took place at Silverstone from 5-7 July 2024.
It comes after Rizzo was named the winner of the trade incentive the luxury line launched when it partnered with the Formula One team earlier this year.
The prize included a tour of the team’s garage, a meet and great with driver ambassadors and gourmet food and fine wines throughout the day.
“It was the most magical weekend,” said Rizzo, speaking exclusively to Cruise Trade News. “I entered the competition as it seemed like the perfect mix of my work and what my husband and I love to do in our free time.
“I saw that Regent had partnered with the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One team and it seemed like the dream prize, especially as it was my husband’s birthday over that weekend too.”
Beale said he was “over the moon” to accompany the couple during the experience. “Partnering with likeminded luxury brands provides us with unique and engaging opportunities to reward our valued travel partners and this once-in-a-lifetime Aston Martin Aramco VIP race experience did just that.
“This was our biggest trade incentive to date, and it was incredible to see such a positive response and to offer our travel partners the opportunity to experience those unforgettable moments that Regent is known for.”
Regent and Aston Martin partnership ‘collaborative and multi-layered’
He said the partnership with Aston Martin is “collaborative and multi-layered”, offering the line’s partners the chance to target new audiences with opportunities such as the Spotlight on Aston Martin Aramco cruise.
“The special July 2025 sailing will be hosted by former AMF1 driver Pedro de la Rosa on board Seven Seas Splendor, calling into incredible ports that will appeal to F1 fans and luxury cruisers,” he added.
