Entries for the 11^th annual Wave Awards, hosted by Cruise Trade News and World of Cruising in partnership with Virgin Voyages, are now open for lines and agents with a one-off Flash Sale running until 14 March

Taking place this November at The Dorchester on London’s Park Lane, the biggest night in the cruise industry calendar returns with a host of new categories and sponsors as the Wave Awards enters its second decade in style.

Virgin Voyages will be this year’s headline sponsor, fresh off the back of a record-breaking 2024, who will be joined by Princess Cruises, Cunard, Fred. Olsen Cruise Line, Marella Cruises, Riviera Travel and Iconic Hotel Group.

A one-off Early Bird offer will run until 30 April, while those who enter four categories will get the fifth for free. 

To obtain the Early Bird offer, entrants simply need to select which categories they wish to compete in and pay. Answers to the entry questions won’t need to be submitted until the final deadline on 2 June.

Three new categories will give lines and agents more opportunity than ever to celebrate the innovation and creativity exhibited by their teams in the last 12 months.

With Cruise Trade News’ Annual Report revealing that 58 per cent of new-to-cruise travellers say they’re planning on booking a cruise in the next 6-24 months, this year’s ceremony will recognise those who’ve gone above and beyond to lure new holidaymakers to the industry. The Best Initiative for Attracting New-to-cruise will celebrate both cruise lines and agents who have demonstrated measurable growth in this market.

Meanwhile, Best PR Team will celebrate the most effective in-house communication departments across the industry who have driven public engagement through exceptional storytelling.
