Cunard is adding 45 new Britannia Club cabins to Queen Mary 2 during a 25-day refit at the Blohm & Voss shipyard in Hamburg starting May 27 2016.

The total includes the first single cabins to be offered on Queen Mary 2. All will have an oceanview but nine will be on deck 2 and the rest will be on deck 3L. The latter, pictured, will have two large circular windows.

Nine single cabins were added to both Cunard’s Queen Elizabeth and Queen Victoria during refits in 2014 and 2015 respectively. The company said it is in response to the growing number of people cruising alone.
