Cunard has reported an ‘overwhelmingly positive’ reaction to its two-day travel agent sales blitz.
A 15-strong team visited more than 150 travel agents, across 70 stores, on 7 and 8 March, to deliver in-person news on the launch of the line’s 2025 itineraries, including Queen Anne’s maiden world voyage.
The visits provided an opportunity for Cunard to “learn more about the issues impacting agents in the current climate”, a statement said, with the Cunard sales team explaining “key brand insights while enhancing customer relationships”.
Cunard working ‘tirelessly’ to showcase product
Cunard director of UK sales Tom Mahoney said: “We are delighted with the success of our recent sales blitz and the fantastic response that we have received from travel agents across the UK.
“Our dedicated sales team has worked tirelessly to showcase our extraordinary Cunard fleet and unique on-board experiences to our valued travel partners, and the feedback we have received has been overwhelmingly positive.
“We remain committed to supporting our travel agent community and working together to create unforgettable experiences for our mutual customers.”
The line recently announced its return to South America in 2025, marking the first time since 2020 that it will offer voyages to the continent.
Queen Victoria will set sail from Southampton in January 2025, for a 78-night itinerary.
