Crystal has launched a new online engine in a bid to streamline the booking process for its travel agent partners in the UK
The integrated platform will go live on 1 August 2024 and offer a “suite of resources designed to provide the trade with the flexibility, speed and reliability they need to serve their clients”, the line said.
It will feature an “easy-to-navigate” design which simplifies the search and booking process, real-time availability, personalised recommendations, enhanced support and exclusive promotions.
“Travel advisors are at the heart of our business, and we are committed to providing them with the best tools and resources available,” said Marett Taylor, chief sales officer of Crystal parent company A&K Travel Group.
“Our new booking engine is a testament to our dedication to innovation and excellence. We believe it will significantly enhance the efficiency of our valued travel partners, enabling them to deliver exceptional service to their clients.”
Crystal rolls out training resources to support transition
Furthermore, Crystal has developed training resources, including webinars, video tutorials and step-by-step guides, to help agents get to grips with the new system.
Travel advisors will also have access to a dedicated support team ready to assist with any questions or issues that may arise.
It comes after the brand launched a new travel agent incentive programme to coincide with the 2024 Summer Olympics.
From 26 July to 11 August 2024, top-selling agents and agencies across the group’s key accounts can climb the podium and win 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes.
