Crystal appoints Danny Giles as regional sales manager north
Crystal has expanded its UK & EMEA sales presence with the appointment of Danny Giles as regional sales manager north and Stefan Nicodemus as regional sales manager northern Europe
Giles, who joins the line on 6 November, brings more than 20 years’ experience to the role and will work to drive trade sales performance while expanding the market presence of Crystal within his region.
His main focus will be revitalising and building connections with Crystal’s travel partners across the Scotland, North of England and Ireland. Giles will report to Stephen Joyner, Crystal’s senior sales manager UK and Ireland.
Nicodemus, meanwhile, will join Crystal’s EMEA sales team on 1 November with responsibility for driving trade sales performance and expanding the market presence of Crystal within Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Benelux and Scandinavia.
He has spent more than 30 years working in the travel industry, including 23 years with Hapag-Lloyd Cruises, and will draw on this experience to develop relationships with trade partners across Northern and Middle Europe. He will report to Michael Steffl, Crystal’s director trade sales EMEA.
Crystal to bolster UK trade team further

Earlier this month, the line launched a new trade booking incentive which rewards agents with a free cruise. The Sell Three, Sail Free scheme is valid for new bookings only and applies to 18 sailings in Europe, the US and Canada, the Caribbean, South America and Asia.
